It finished 2 – 2; could have been a lot more goals but for some brilliant saves by Harrison Carter and Jake Poulson. 6s took the lead with a smart finish from Edward Barker. 7s equalised before half time with a goal by Max Hahn.

In the second half, some great attacking play from the 7s saw them take a deserved lead, with another goal for Max. Time was beginning to run out when the 6s were awarded a short corner. The big defenders lumbered up the pitch. Injection, shot, melee and then the ball crawled across the line; 2 – 2. Seán Massey has claimed the goal.

In the last few minutes both teams pushed for the win and it could have gone either way. Just as the final whistle blew, the 7s were awarded a short corner - a chance to grab a late winner. Defenders out quickly, shot blocked, umpire spots a foul by the attack and the draw is secured.
